Finally! We proudly welcome Nero & Masrya, Tristan & Nala, Omar, Bruno, Nora, Ziera, Mahli, Hugo & Ambra and Simba & Isolde. All enclosures and facilities are finished, and we obtained the necessary permits, so we were able to move these 13 lions to The Lions Foundation. These beauties were originally kept in a circus, animal park, back garden or in a tiny cage on a market and then rescued by Stichting Leeuw in the Netherlands. Now they have moved to their final home – not just a place to live, but a real home. They will all have access to a 1.5 hectare area of savannah, but for now they are in their own separate outside feeding area and a small inside enclosure, just to keep a good eye on them for a while and to make them get used to being fed there.
