The Lions Foundation rescues and shelters big cats from circuses, private ownership, zoos and animal parks. - Provide a sanctuary, a permanent home for rescued lions from Stichting Leeuw;
- Rescue and shelter other lions in need;
- Conduct behavioural research to continually improve the comfort of the animals;
- Educate visitors on the lions, to teach them how they can help the feline predators.
