Today we welcomed Bakari, Sarabi and Jessy! This small pride arrived at Stichting Leeuw in 2014, from a German circus. After receiving a generous donation from a Dutch donor, The Lions Foundation was able to build a beautiful enclosure for them in South Africa. Here, the lions can spend the rest of their lives in peace and quiet, within their natural habitat.

The transport went exceptionally well, the lions voluntarily entered their crates and were calm all the way in the airplane and the truck. Upon arrival at The Lions Foundation, it took them only a couple of hours to feel quite relaxed again and ate their breakfast as if nothing had happened…
