Amazing news! As we speak, caretakers of Stichting Leeuw in The Netherlands are busy preparing the relocation of two lion couples, Simba & Stella and Cesar & Elsa. These beauties will very probably be welcomed at The Lions Foundation in South Africa this spring. Their new homes, huge enclosures on the African savannah, are ready and waiting for them. This move will also free up space at Stichting Leeuw, who have a long waiting list of big cats to rescue and shelter. The caretakers have already started crate training to familiarize the lions with their transport crates so that they won’t need sedation for the big move.
